9to5toys.com feed partly broken?

About 3 days ago, the 9to5toys.com feed (http://9to5toys.com/feed/) stopped supplying the images it’s always had.

I reported this to the site, they state that they’re still supplying them and that the site looks fine in Feedly, it’s still showing the image that goes with every post.

I am honestly not sure - We’re not blocking it - that RSS reader looks like it does something to do full text, so it might be breaking it.

Thanks - this is a new problem, it used to work perfectly.

I changed my view to show the included picture, and it seems that it does show just a couple. Everything else is blank.

Here’s a screenshot with Chrome’s error console enabled (I know just enough to be dangerous).

I’d check with them to see if it’s a setting. We’re def sending the image.

Thanks for reaching out and being a reader. In my RSS reader (Feedly), they’re showing. Which app are you using?

For some reason, viewing the RSS feed no longer includes an image of the product.

This makes me far, far, far less likely to actually read the blurb and click to see the whole article since it won’t catch my interest.

Their feed does not have images for most articles. It has images in the middle of some big articles but they does not supply image with each article.

I suspect that Feedly uses images from article pages directly for some popular feeds. And Feedly only shows images for
http://feeds.feedburner.com/9to5macToys
and not for
http://9to5toys.com/feed/
but both of them do not have images.

So it’s an issue on the 9to5Toys side.
