API: Full text and Images

Hi,

New customer here. Just started to explore the API this weekend.
I am pulling the feed as json with: https://bazqux.com/reader/api/0/stream/contents

Full article text is not mentioned anywhere in the API docs.
Additionally, when I pull the feed, I get a summary only that ends in […], even if I already added the full text in the GUI. Is there a way to tell it to get the full text?

Also: Images. I see a construction in summary>content involving ‘data-bqr-info’ It would be nice to have something simpler e.g. an item in the JSON for “imageurl”: “https://…”. Even better if it also had “proxiedimageurl” since that is now a feature.

There’s no option to get the full text via API (but you can try to subscribe via ftr.bazqux.com to always have a full text content for particular feeds). And there’s no image proxy for 3-rd party tools.

More structured attachment info is available in the “enclosure” field. I’m duplicating attachments as HTML as there a many clients that doesn’t support “enclosure”.
