Background sync is not working in either Lire or Reeder 5 for my Bazqux account. “Background App Refresh” is enabled for both accounts in the iPad settings. Background sync is enabled in both apps. Any idea how I can fix this?
Hard to tell. AFAIK iOS tends to not run apps in background to save energy and you may need to use app for a few days regularly for background sync to work. But it’s quite old information and is mostly for iPhones not iPads.
Does it still not syncing? And does it sync fine if you start syncing manually?
