Some feeds may have too many post and when subscribing to them they flood the Latest feed.
Yet I still want to keep them and check them out occasionally.
Is it possible to do filter them out from the Latest feed yet keep them visible in a separate folder using existing tools?
Unfortunately, no such feature exists yet.
You could try to create a smart stream for all items (search for *), then edit the smart stream and unselect feeds you don’t want to see.
Alternatively, you can create a folder (a feed can be in multiple folders), and tag feeds to this folder (right click on the feed for the menu). But this is tiresome if you have many feeds.
In both cases it will be a separate feed/folder from the Latest.
