I’ve noticed that Reddit RSS feeds, e.g. RSS - Really Simple Syndication, no longer seem to work in Bazqux and now return a “HTTP 429 Too Many Requests” error. This might be due to some new rate-limiting on Reddit’s side.
Yeah some Reddit feeds have been causing trouble recently. I switched a lot of my Reddit feeds over to openrss.org and they’ve been working much better there.
Thank you for telling me about this. Reddit recently changed API rate limits (BazQux uses Reddit API instead of RSS to have more data), and it led to lots of rate limit errors.
I’ve reduced the rate of Reddit feed fetches, and it works fine now.
